Supreme Court Defers Hearing on Delhi Protest Restrictions
NEW DELHI - The Supreme Court of India has deferred the hearing on pleas related to public protest restrictions and the closure of metro stations in the capital. The restrictions were implemented ahead of scheduled mass agitations against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
The postponement to Thursday occurred due to the indisposition of Justice V Mohana. Commuters have been advised to check daily traffic and transit advisories, as disruptions in train services and road diversions are expected to continue in central areas.
